Data-driven marketing strategies to target audiences and improve engagement.

Marketing strategy I could use to promote myself via my portfolio website

I developed my portfolio using WordPress, which allowed flexible content management, easy website updates, and integration of plugins to improve both functionality and user experience. Using WordPress also enabled me to organise projects, blogs, categories, and tags efficiently across the website.

To improve search engine visibility, I implemented SEO strategies using Yoast SEO. This included optimising keywords, meta descriptions, readability, image alt text, and page structure to improve search rankings and attract potential clients. SEO optimisation also supported a more accessible and user-friendly browsing experience.

I integrated Google Analytics through Google Site Kit to monitor website traffic, audience behaviour, content performance, and engagement metrics. These insights helped evaluate how users interacted with my website and informed future improvements based on real data.

Social media integration was also incorporated throughout the website to increase visibility and promote my work across multiple platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Dribbble. Linking my portfolio to these platforms helped drive traffic, improve networking opportunities, and strengthen my online professional presence.

Strong visual content was an important part of the marketing strategy. I incorporated curated project case studies, responsive layouts, featured images, image sliders, and visual storytelling techniques to showcase my graphic, web, and UX design work in a more engaging and professional way. This helped create a more interactive user experience while effectively communicating my skills and design process.

As a future strategy, I plan to develop email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp and create online surveys to engage users, collect feedback, and better understand my audience. Additionally, I may expand into multimedia content such as video and printed promotional materials, including business cards, to further strengthen my personal brand and reach a wider audience.
